Chuck Norris explains vital work trusted nonprofit does to build children's character

When my kid was three we were at the mall which had a charity stand with red heart shaped balloons (heart disease charity). I asked how much to donate for a balloon and they said "You have to sign a monthly debit contract for us to take money from your account each month". My kid did not get a balloon because I refused to sign up.

Back at home I checked this charity out. Nearly 70% of donations went to administration and marketing. Only a small percentage went to heart disease research. The fundraising was outsourced to a third party firm who took a large cut of the money.

Most charities, if you take time to investigate them, are scams.
