Remember1941 is discussing:

The incident occurred at Simpson Central School on October 13 when principal Antoinette Woodall allegedly demanded nine-year-old Lydia Booth take off the covering.

"The suit claims other students had been wearing face masks emblazoned with ... the words 'Black Lives Matter'." Is that any surprise?

I remember a day -- way back when, when I was in school -- when nobody would have noticed. Nobody would have said a thing, least of all a teacher. They were busy with reading, writing, and arithmetic, not screening logos on clothing. This incident is probably another casualty of integration and affirmative action, being in a public school in Mississippi.
