Ron Matthews is discussing:

NHS figures show one in six patients waited longer than four hours in A&E last month

"Funding for the NHS has failed to keep pace with a rising need for healthcare. The NHS does not have enough staff, or enough equipment, to meet the needs of the population it serves". And therein lies the problem. Despite claims of funding cuts NHS spending continues to rise steadily. The real terms budget has more than doubled since 2000. Unfortunately the population it serves has also increased dramatically due to the mass immigration started by Blair and continued to the present. The government needs to be honest and tell the public that if we want to have 600,000 immigrants coming into the country every year we are going to have to dig deep into our pockets to take care of them.
