Yeah, I'm going to call bullshit. This is manufactured outrage.
tl;dr: This wasn't a "calming effect from the holocaust." It was a horrendously botched statement of pride for how Palestine reacted to the Holocaust in support for the juice.
The "calming effect" was the result of her belief that Palestinians risk everything to help the juice after the holocaust. It was a horribly strung together train of thought, but she only admitted, basically, that she's proud of the fact the Palestinians in the past didn't hate the juice so much. I have no clue whether this is true or not. I'd imagine they probably were helpful because most people don't want to see people suffer... even the evil juice.
It actually fits with her perspectives on Israel. She blames the juice for Palestinians hate for the juice. So, yeah...
