I guess I just don't know that much about the Speaker's position, but if the Dems split into two groups (for her against her) how is a new speaker chosen? Does the entire House get a vote/ Why would the Dems have any say over the Speaker if they have effectively broken into two parties? Could the Republicans then take over the position?
