We the undersigned journalists and media workers are deeply concerned about members of far-right organisations trying to silence reports of their activities.
Wow, has anyone seen the list of signatories of this letter to the Independent? It’s like a who’s who of odious far left agitators including Mike Stuchbery, who has admitted being a member of Antifa, an organisation that the Independent itself reported US security agencies describe as a terrorist organisation. These vile far left activists have only themselves to blame for the public disquiet of the fetid integrity-lacking news media that regularly pumps out fake news, or lies by omission. An example of that this week is almost complete lack of reporting of Robinson suing Cambridgeshire police for harassing his children two years ago, at the same time as filming the children with a broad smile. Don’t blame your own faults on others. The public are starting to despise the news media more and more because of your lies and dishonesty, and Robinson is just a symptom of that not the cause. The Guardian writer, Julie Bindel, admitted that it took 7 years before any newspaper editor would agree to publishing a story in the child grooming and rape gangs for fear of being accused of “Islamophobia”. Put your own house in order before lazily and predictably blaming others.
