"Alternative Influence" by Rebecca Lewis identifies an alternative media system on YouTube that adopts the techniques of brand influencers to build audiences and “sell” them political ideology.

I think in 10 years time people will look back to this report and consider it the scientific equivalent of phrenology or alchemy . It's simply that poorly researched. I'm surprised D&S haven't decided to disavow the report.
