Failing to list the microphone was not a mistake. Google does not make mistakes like that. They are going to 'give you the option' at first, but later on it will require you to enable the microphone. Yes this is disturbing, but frankly I think you're a schmuck for having one of these devices in your house in the first place. What Congress should be investigating is Google's cooperation with China in it's attempts to censor the internet and how Google is pairing with media corporations to do the same here. Problem is, Congress doesn't understand any of this shit.
